MBA ProgramsProgram Overview
The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM) offers MBA, Executive MBA and Master of Science (MS) degree programs. A joint Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations, and a joint Master of Public Administration, as well as graduate certificates in State and Local Taxation and Non-profit Management are also offered. The MBA and MS in Management programs can both be completed in two years and both programs offer classes during the evening to accommodate working and full-time students. The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a two-year accelerated program designed for mid-career managers, executives, professionals and entrepreneurs. Classes meet on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. In conjunction with the College of Letters and Science, the Lubar School of Business offers a joint master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations (MHRLR) and a Master of Public Administration. A graduate certificate in State and Local Taxation provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for careers within the tax departments of corporations, CPA firms, law firms and government agencies, while a graduate certificate in Non-profit Management responds to the growing need for trained professionals in management and leadership positions within non-profit sector organizations.
